For those who know little or nothing about fabrics (like me) it is a little complicated to distinguish the type of fabric in the retouched photos we see in online clothing stores. Therefore, I will give you some tricks that have helped me to quickly identify the type of fabric of the item I want to buy.
First of all, check the label of the clothes you have at home, the type of material that is so you have an idea of what to expect from the one you will buy online. This will help you avoid unwanted surprises.
The online store tells you the material of the piece that interests you. If it is cotton, you can expect quality and comfort when using it because it allows perspiration of the skin, which is excellent for climates such as the DR.

In the case of polyester, which is a cheap fabric, it usually maintains its shape and does not need ironing. Unlike cotton, the polyester being a synthetic fabric does not allow perspiration which results in sweating a lot in hot weather. You can expect in many cases an elastic and resistant fabric.

Be careful if you want to buy a pencil type dress in polyester because it usually gets a little up.

Not all polyester garments expand, some are a little stiff and, in my opinion, of good quality.

In some cases, I have seen very nice blouses in the photos but the material is Chiffon personally I do not like that fabric. It’s cheap, yes, but it shows that it is of poor quality. It forces you to wear a blouse underneath and it is rough to the touch.

I like the color red dress though. It looked like it has the same polyester from Dorothy Perkins. Yes it is stiff.. I have a dress with that kind of style from Dorothy Perkins but ah I love it.great posts tho for those who loves to shop online 🙂
